toalla A towel for measuring obesity

Japan is known for surprising us with curious inventions, useful or not. They’re originals, most of it technological, but this’s not what we’ll see today.

In Un Español en Japón, I found a towel that is used to measure the obesity level of a person. The publicity shows a young woman watching her husband with his fat belly and dismembering when he hasn’t.

The towel measures by figures. When you put it around your wist, it has marks that shows different levels and illustrations. Someone to gift it?
